OUR CLASSROOM PHILOSOPHY

•Our curriculum focuses on your child's spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, physical and sensor motor development.

•Our classroom is a positive environment that thrives on promoting kindness to one another. Character education is just as important as any other subject.

•Our classroom follows a set of behavior expectations that promote and reflect a Christian lifestyle.

•Our classroom is open to different beliefs and cultures. We believe in the importance of teaching diversity through multicultural activities.

•Our classroom schedule follows a structured, consistent routine. Although this is very important, we do not hesitate to deviate from this because of educational opportunities or overall mood of students.

•We firmly adopt and believe a “whole child” approach to teaching that supports the individual strengths and limitations of each student. This is achieved through multi-sensory activities and teaching the materials in a variety of ways. Curiosity is welcomed and embraced!

•Our classroom promotes a print rich environment and encourages students to utilize literature as much as they can. This includes whole group reading, shared reading, independent reading, environmental print and more.
